Osteopathy is a complementary healthcare therapy which can be your first port of call for diagnosing and identifying appropriate treatment. This approach is suitable for the majority of people from birth and through every stage of life. As osteopaths we assess, treat and manage a wide range of conditions.

Osteopaths primarily work through the muscular skeletal system – the joints, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue – to restore your body to a state of balance. We use hands-on techniques the aim of this is to reinstate soft tissue balance, increase blood and nerve supply to the tissues and ultimately aid in your body’s own recovery.

The purpose of treatment is to regain function, alleviate pain and enable you to return to whatever activities are important to you. When treating a patient we consider the person as a whole to deliver an appropriate bespoke therapy.

Osteopaths treat people rather than specific conditions, and try to find the route cause of the pain/injury.

Osteopaths treat people who suffer from, and can help to reduce the symptoms of a wide variety of complaints, including (but not limited to):
